About Event

The aim of this workshop is to promote and enhance the entrepreneurship in geo environmental engineering. Rapid industrialization, improper management of waste and public attitude creates air, water and soil pollution. The problem of change in behavior of soil due to pollutant transport from various sources on one hand and contamination of groundwater on the other hand is a cause of concern for Geotechnical and Environmental Engineers. The scope of Geoenvironmental engineering is to provide the protection of subsurface environment as well as public health and promotion of sustainable development. Geo environmental engineering requires the broad knowledge on multidisciplinary branches of science and technology to solve multidisciplinary problems. At the end of this course, the researcher will become an entrepreneur in various fields like waste segregation, waste management, energy recovery from wastes,
reuse of waste etc.
